ORANGE PARK—Eight Clay County graduating seniors of the Class of 2024 received $1000 scholarships from the Orange Park Woman’s Club. Certificates were presented during the senior awards programs at each student’s high school.
Recipients submit letters of recommendation, an essay, information on community service performed, and various awards received in ninth through 12th grades.
The scholarship program and other outreach efforts in education have been a major focus of the Orange Park Woman’s Club for many years. Proceeds from the Club’s annual Rummage Sale in late July provide scholarship funding.
Scholarships were awarded to Jessica Cherry, Tyler Davies, Sunai Grant, Tyler Howell, Cheyenne Ivey, Jaden Park, Alina Stefanik and Grace Ward.
