ORANGE PARK - The vocalists of the Orange Park Chorale sang with passion from their hearts at their opening Fall concert on Saturday.
In their all-black formal attire, the group rendered secular and sacred favorites handpicked by members.
While Artistic Director David Holladay conducted the group's sopranos, altos, basses and tenors, accompanists Lisa Heath and Mary Holladay played the piano.
Some of the many songs performed included The Majesty and Glory of Your Name, Cool Moon and The Sound of Silence.
For the musical selections of "Soon We Will Be Done" and "For Good" from Wicked, solos from Amy Bandalos, Kim Fishman and Zoe Oldaker were also featured.
The chorale was first founded in 1992 by Dr. Carole Clifford. The non-profit chorus is a premier ensemble in the county with a mission to provide musical excellence.
The chorale accepts new members twice a year before the Fall and Spring rehearsal times.
