Clark Allen Thomas
Clark Allen Thomas, 71 of Middleburg, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019.
He was born June 30, 1948 in Miami, Florida to parents Clarence E. and Mildred (Allen) Thomas and resided in Middleburg since 1970.
Mr. Thomas was an English and dual enrollment teacher for 30 years, teaching at Green Cove Springs Middle School and then retiring from Clay High School where he was department head for many years. His personality and instruction impacted countless students who remember him as one of their favorite teachers.
In his free time, he enjoyed reading and was proud of his large book collection.
His parents, and his aunt, Virginia Allen, preceded him in death.
Surviving him is his friend, Doris Browning.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery with Pastor Steve Conner officiating.
