Joan Alice Jones
Our beloved mother, Nana and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Oct. 26, 2022, at the age of 95. She was proceeded by her husband, Larry F. Jones of 38 years, and her two daughters, Barbara Ann White and Donna Kay Allen.
She is survived by three sons, Myron C White and his wife Trish, Dennis Green and Rodney Green; Grandchildren Anna Webster, Sean Allen, Myron White Jr. and Erin Steichen; and, Great grandchildren Taylor, Myles, Lily and Elaine.
Born on May 4, 1927, in Bendigo. Victoria Australia, she came to America, as a WWII bride in 1946. For 31 years, she made Keystone Heights her home with her husband Larry Jones.
She was very active in her community of Clay County. She was president of the Garden Club of the Lakes in Keystone Heights, which helped establish the Butterfly Garden at Keystone Heights Natural Park. She was a founding member of the Garden Club of Green Coves Springs.
She was very proud to work on projects that Honored U.S. Military Veterans. Her vision, founding the Veterans Memorial Pathway in 2005, located at the Keystone Heights Cemetary, was one of her proudest accomplishments.
She is also known for all her work and commitment to bringing Wreaths Across America to Clay County, which is one of the largest ceremonies in the county. These were just a few of the projects that she was dedicated to in her long lifetime.
Though small in stature, she was large in Energy and Inspiration!

Leslie Gerald Rodgers Jr.
Leslie Gerald Rodgers Jr., age 72, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born in Portland, Oregon and served in the U.S. Army.
Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Penny Rodgers; 5 sons: Joseph (Shelly) Jundt, Dominic (Lynn) Jundt, Mark (Jeanne) Jundt, Michael (Shana) Jundt and Mathew (Jamie) Jundt; 8 grandchildren: Nicholas, Karley, Lexie, Eilesha, Taylor, Harlie, Tiffany and Donovan; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family honored his wishes for no formal services. He will be laid to rest at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
