Earl Mosley
Earl Mosley, age 92, of Clay Hill, FL passed away peacefully on March 17, 2020 at Isle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fleming Island.
Earl was a lifelong resident of Maxville, FL. He enlisted in the United States Marines and was stationed in China during WWII. After his service he came back to Maxville and started Mosley Trucking. He worked there until his retirement.
Earl was an active member of Long Branch Baptist Church and served as a deacon for over 60 years. He was also a Duval County (Maxville) Station 43 volunteer firefighter for 30 years.
Earl is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Lorraine Mosely; son, Ronnie Earl Mosley; daughter, Judy Diane Mosely; brothers, Charlie, Donnie and Nathan Mosley and sisters, Hazel Griffis and Bell Rosier.
Earl is survived by his daughter, Vicki (Jody) Wallick; grandchildren, Tammy Riggs, Dale (Rachel) Mosley and Cheyenne (James) Brigman; great-grandchildren, Emily Riggs, Bailey Riggs, Garrett Mosley and Aulden Brigman; great-great-grandson, Carter Reddish.
A service to honor Earl’s life was held on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00a.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church. Family received friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00a.m. (one-hour prior). The service was officiated by Pastors Harry Conway and Richard Fish. Interment was held at Long Branch Cemetery.

Hildegard Soltys
Hildegard Soltys, 79, of Middleburg, passed away on March 21, 2020, after a four month battle with pancreatic cancer, with her children by her side.
She was born in Berlin, Germany and raised in Hirzweiler. Hildegard was an active member of her church, St. Luke’s and the Legion of Mary.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, John; parents, Rini and Otto Glaser, and sisters, Helga Glaser and Ingrid Biehl.
She is survived by her children Susan Soltys, Catherine Nicholson, John Soltys, Michael Soltys, and Rini Butler; her three grandsons, Christopher-Jon, Nikolaus and John-Gabriel Butler; brother, Uwe Glaser; son-in-law, Robert Nicholson and daughter-in-law, Leidy Soltys; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church at 1606 Blanding Blvd, Middleburg, Florida on July 11, 2020 at 11:00 am and interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on July 13, 2020 with her husband, John.
