NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The 2021/2022 Clay County Charter Review Commission (CRC) will be holding the first of three Public Hearings regarding amendments to place on the November ballot.  The first Public Hearing will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, the second Public Hearing will be on Monday, May 16, 2022, and the Third Public Hearing will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  All three Public Hearings will be at 7:00 P.M. in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room, Fourth Floor, Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.  The meeting is open to the public and all interested persons are invited to attend and be heard at the meeting.

In accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, any person needing a special accommodation to participate in this matter should contact the Clay County ADA Coordinator by mail at Post Office Box 1366, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043, or by telephone at (904) 269-6347, no later than three (3) days prior to the hearing or proceeding for which this notice has been given. Notice is hereby given, that any person wishing to appeal any decision made by the Clay County Charter Review Commission with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or hearing that is the subject of this advertisement/notice, will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
