THE PUBLIC IS HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Planning Commission of Clay County, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, and that the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, both hearings taking place in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston St., Green Cove Springs, Florida. The proposed ordinance is entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CLAY COUNTY, FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III OF THE CLAY COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND LAND USE LDRs ADOPTED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 93-16, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY (TAX PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 38-06-26-016516-000-00; 29-06-26-015611-001-00; 34-06-26-015714-000-00; 33-06-26-015652-000-00; 32-06-26-015650-001-00; 04-07-26-015818-000-00; 03-07-26-015792-000-00) FROM ITS PRESENT ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT); PROVIDING A DESCRIPTION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The proposed ordinance would change the current zoning classification on approximately 3,112 acres from PUD (Planned Unit Development) to PUD (Planned Unit Development) on the following land, the owner of the land being GCSD, LLC & GCSE, LLC:

Interested parties may appear at the hearings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. After the public hearings the Board may take immediate action on the proposed ordinance, or may continue its deliberations to a date, time and place then announced without publishing further notice thereof. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection by the public at the Clay County Planning and Zoning Division, Third Floor of the Administration Building, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the hearings or at any subsequent hearing to which the Board has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need a record of all proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
