CLAY COUNTY – The Defense Acquisition Professionals Alumni Association JAX Florida Chapter and Clay County Chamber of Commerce partnered to award nine Clay County High School Seniors with $1,000 scholarships.
The winners are Dalton Kassner, who is going to Geneva College; Camson Alevy, who’s going to FSU; Mary Reed, who’s going to University of Miami; Lily Bowman, who’s going to North Florida; Brooke Lastinger, Jason Barfield and Caleb Moncrief, who are going to Florida; UF, Emilia West and Jenna Barfield, who are going to Florida State College-Jacksonville.
Scholarship applications for 2023 will be available on the DAPAA JAX Chapter website at www.dapaajax.org by the end of September 2022. Applications are due by May 31 and the scholarship awards will increase from $1,000 to $2,000 a student.
