JACKSONVILLE – A Middleburg man was turned over to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office from the Duval County Jail after being arrested on Sept. 20 in Jacksonville after CCSO claimed he sold methamphetamine and fentanyl to a confidential informant on Nov. 17 in the parking lot of an Orange Park fast food restaurant.
Robert Lawrence Bernhardt, 64, was charged on Sept. 30 with trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl after CCSO and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement set up the controlled buy near the Clay and Duval county line.
His bond was set at $350,006. His next court appearance will be on Nov. 5.
