ORANGE PARK – A Jacksonville man was charged with eight counts of grand theft in connection with a reported break-in and thefts of catalytic converters on Industrial Loop South on April 22, 2022.

John Patrick Dale, 57, was one of three men suspected of grand theft with damages of at least $1,000 after exhaust pipes were cut from box trucks and the catalytic converters were removed from several businesses on Corporate Way.

Dale was detained at the Duval County Jail when he was transferred to Clay County officials on Dec. 5.

Dale’s bond is $80,024.

The other suspects were Shane Jason White, 40, of St. Augustine and Mark Conlan Hintz, 44, of Jacksonville.
