OAKLEAF – An off-duty Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested an 18-year-old after he refused to leave Oakleaf High football field after the deputy saw him shooting craps behind the concession stand.
Terrence Jermaine Washington, of Jacksonville, was charged with playing games of chance, trespassing on school grounds and resisting, obstructing or opposing law enforcement after CCSO said he pulled away from the deputy after he refused to leave, and he was taken into custody.
According to the arrest report, Washington said he thought the deputy was joking.
