GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Only a clown would agree to perform five times in three days, and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at the Clay County Agriculture Fairgrounds. The Loomis Bros Circus delighted fans, young and old, with one show on Friday, followed by doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday, with their lineup of acrobats, animal acts, daredevils, high-wire walkers, music and, of course, clowns. Miss Kelsie the Hoop Artists performed a variety of mesmerizing tricks, while The Official Flyerz jumped, flew and soared to amazing heights. Visitors also got to see acts performed by horses and an elephant. And Condroito Circus Clown did what he does best – acted goofy and made everyone laugh.
