CLAY COUNTY — If you are looking for some fun entertainment during the summer season, Clay County’s local community theaters have got you covered.
For the duration of the summer, the Orange Park Community Theater, Spotlight Theater and the Island Theater all have a full agenda for you to look forward to.
For the month of July, The Orange Park Community Theater, located at 2900 Moody Ave., will have showings of "Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella: Youth Edition" on July 6-7.
Following that, the theater will also have showings of "Zombie Prom" for evening shows on July 12, 13, 19 and 20. And matinee shows on July 14-21.
And for the remainder of summer, the theater will also be showcasing "Irving Berlin’s: Annie Get Your Gun" from Aug. 16-Sept. 8.
Theater treasurer Sara Green said that this year’s upcoming shows are sure to bring fun to the community.
“The community can expect a season of rousing shows with all kinds of talent, age levels, ethnicities, sizes and abilities,” Green said.
Greens added that the theater also provides general admission and student pricing to make the experience more affordable for families.

At the Spotlight Center, located at 1809 East West Parkway, there will be a limited run of "Spongebob The Musical" on July 13, July 20, July 27, Aug. 1 and Aug. 3. And "Sister Act The Musical" will run from July 25-Aug. 17.

The Island Theater, located on 1860 Town Hall Circle, will be showcasing "Seussical the Musical" until July 7 and "Peter Pan" from July 12-21. July will also feature a showing of "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical" from July 26-28.
The musical comedy "The Wedding Singer" will be showing from Aug. 9-18 and "Boeing Boeing" from Sept. 13-22.
