Letter to the editor: Democrats, Independents will be denied the right to vote

For a mere $25 filing fee, write-in candidates closed the Aug. 18 primary in three critical races: Superintendent of Schools, Sheriff’s Office and Tax Collector.
This common, yet shameful, practice needs to be addressed by our Legislators!
