Krawlin’ for the Fallen kicks up dust, attention for law enforcement
KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Three days of music, food, motorcycle and 5K runs and off-road driving came to an end Sunday night at the Keystone Heights Airport. The annual Krawlin’ for the Fallen attracted thousands – many who left with mud-caked trucks and dirty faces after spending days riding trails and kicking up rooster tails of dust. The festival was presented by Off-Road United to raise awareness and honor the law enforcement officers and their K-9s who died in the line of duty. Nearly 700 Jeeps participated in off-road excursions or the obstacle course. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office offered K-9 presentations with drug-sniffing dog Duke as well as its motorcycle unit.
