GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Food Truck Friday was back at Spring Park on March 12. The new and socially distant configuration of the trucks, set up along both Walnut and Spring streets, allowed for more spacing, not only of the vehicles but also for the people ordering and waiting for their food. Many people were out enjoying the weather and the return of one of city’s popular activities. They brought out folding chairs and blankets and sat on the lawn to enjoy the live music. There also was a wagon pulled by Shetland ponies. Different food flavors such as Mexican (Viva Familia), Mediterranean (Kofta and Spice and Saffron Mediterranean kitchen), Cuban (Manny’s) and Desert (Le Petit Cheri Cupcakery) were available to satisfy all different types of palates. Animals also were catered to by the Pet Food Truck.
