FLEMING ISLAND – The Garden Club of Fleming Island is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a student graduating from a Clay County high school and planning to major in horticulture, environmental studies or a related field.
Each guidance office at a county school has been provided with an application that includes information on the eligibility requirements and the application process.
Submit the application and attachments to the high school’s guidance counselor between March 1 and April 15. The scholarship is granted only for tuition, books and related expenses. It is sent directly from the club to the student's account at the college's financial office designated on the application.
