Faith Walk: The End

Another year has passed. It’s hard to believe! How quickly it seems time is passing. It’s not passing any faster than it ever has, of course. But as the years of our lives end and another one begins, it seems the interval between the end of a year and the beginning of another is shorter.

The time between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 will be the same as the time between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. But the older we are, the more it will seem that the time between the beginning of the year and the end of the year is diminished.

It does not matter how things “seem” to be. What really matters about time is how we use it. The best use we can make of the time He gives us is to find the plan He has designed for us and live to fulfill it. God reveals that His plan is good. It is positive, powerful and productive.

In fact, this is what He says about the plan he has for you in 2022. “I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 TLB

So make decisions for your new year now! This is the plan for you to put in place for you to have one of the best years of your life: “I will seek to follow the Lord every day of this new year.”

God’s promise is to give you all you need to successfully complete this journey of life that we travel. In His Word, He has given assurance that He will be with on this walk with us if we choose Him to walk it with us. He will provide us all to complete the journey. “And may your strength match the length of your days!” Deut. 33:25 TLB

The Beginning.
