FLEMING ISLAND – The Bartram Trail District recognized 38 Boy Scouts of America who achieved the rank of Eagles Saturday night at Sullivan Hall on the Sacred Heart Catholic Church campus.

While some scouts couldn’t make the ceremony, most accepted awards and certificates of appreciation from several civic and governmental groups for their accomplishments.

Each was adorned with Eagle neckerchiefs by District Director Jennifer Jeannotte and District Commissioner Jon Jaeger. North Florida Council CEO Kelvin Williams also greeted Scouts.

A story will follow.
