OAKLEAF – Once again Oakleaf Plantation will be sponsoring an Angel Tree to help other Clay County children that will not have the kind of Christmas we want for our children without your help.

With the help of the Clay County Schools’ social workers, wish lists are gathered from Clay County students that will be having a lean Christmas.

If you wish to choose your Angel(s) from our tree, it will be set up in the Fitness Center in Oakleaf Village, Phase 1 by Nov. 15. Please remember to give your name and contact information to the attendant.

If you would like to receive an Angel by Email, please send your preference of the age/sex you are interested in buying for to Lynda Edwards (lyndac_edwards92@yahoo.com. Or you may call (904) 612-8563.

After making your purchases place the unwrapped packages in a large bag (brown or garbage) and clearly mark with your Angels number (you can attach the paper angel). The older children often enjoy doing their own shopping with store gift cards. All bags will be collected at the Oakleaf Watson realty Corp Office, located at 8465 Merchants Way.

As you and your family are opening their gifts on Christmas morning, just imagine the looks on your Angel(s) face(s) as they are opening gifts provided by you. Remember the wish list is only a suggestion of things the child needs and wants, so do not feel that all listed items must be purchased.

All gifts must be delivered to Watson Realty Corp between Dec. 4-12 in order to allow enough time for the gifts to be picked up and delivered before Christmas break, which begins at the end of the school day on Dec. 17.

Please contact Lynda Edwards at lyndac_edwards92@yahoo.com or at 612-8563 with any questions.

Perterbrooke Chocolatier of Oakleaf will honor every paper Angel brought to the store between Nov. 15-Dec. 12 with a chocolate treat for giving a helping hand to children in need. Also, every child receiving gifts will receive a chocolate lollipop from Peterbrooke.
