Clay Today will test your knowledge weekly and provide interesting facts on various topics. This week, the most-watched series finales of all time. For those old enough to remember watching network television series, the final episodes are often revered as classics. Unsurprisingly, the final episode of the 11-season war comedy-drama M*A*S*H, called “Goodbye, Farewell and Amen,” remains the most-watched finale of all time. With an estimated 105 million viewers, it’s likely to remain No. 1 forever. No. 2 is no surprise, either. “Cheers” drew 80.4 million viewers, while “The Fugitive” had an impressive 78 million viewers in 1967 to be third. The rest of the top 10 include: “Seinfeld” in fourth (76.3 million), “Friends” in fifth (52.5), “Magnum P.I.” in sixth (50.7), “The Cosby Show” in seventh (44.4), “All in the Family” in eighth (40.2), “Family Ties” in ninth (36.3) and “Home Improvement” in 10th (35.5).
