ORANGE PARK – The art students of Clay County schools will exhibit work at the 32nd annual Clay County Art Show. The show will take place at the Orange Park Mall in front of JC Penney and will feature the Art programs of 21 elementarys, five junior highs and six high schools.
You can see the elementary school students exhibit the weekend of April 16-18 and the secondary school students from April 23-25. The student show will feature a variety of art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics and photography.
The show started in 1989 when art teachers from several Clay County schools worked together to create a show to exhibit their students’ work and give the community the opportunity to support Art programs in Clay County schools. The show has taken place every spring since, and has grown from just 15 schools to more 37 schools today.
