ORANGE PARK – Orange Park recently announced country music duo Crawford & Power will headline this year’s Freedom Fest event on Saturday, June 25. The duo has opened for a variety of artists including, The Marshall Tucker Band, Willie Nelson, Travis Tritt, The Charlie Daniels Band, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson and 38 Special.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. with the presentation of colors by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard, followed by the National Anthem. Music begins at 4:30 p.m. with the Navy Band Southeast’s Popular Music Group, “Pride,” followed by local favorite Cumberland and Crawford & Power closing out the festivities.
The beloved annual event will feature a variety of local food and brews, veteran-owned businesses and crafters. Other activities include a kid’s zone, a silent auction benefiting St. Michael's Soldiers, a Veterans Lounge, food trucks, beer and wine and a fireworks finale to end the evening.
Admission to the festival is free. Outside food and drink will not be permitted in the event area, and parking policies will remain consistent with daily mall operations. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.
The event is made possible through partnerships with Double A Productions, WQIK 99.1, Santori Fireworks, Fields Automotive, Jacksonville Memorial Gardens and Clay Today.
