Cruz selected to Dean's List at Palmer College
PORT ORANGE – Alexi Cruz of Fleming Island has been named to the fall 2020 quarter Dean's List at Palmer College of Chiropractic's Florida campus in Port Orange.
Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange.
Local students earn degrees at University of Alabama
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama awarded some 2,257 degrees during its fall commencement, including two students from Clay County.
Mackenzi Dugan of Fleming Island received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences, while Asja Gandy of Middleburg received a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences.

Harff on Hamilton College’s Fall 2020 Dean's List
CLINTON, N.Y. – Amy Harff, of Green Cove Springs has earned a spot on the Dean's List at Hamilton College for the 2020 fall semester.
To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or higher.
Harff, a senior majoring in art and environmental studies, is a graduate of Wheeler School.
Originally founded in 1793 as the Hamilton-Oneida Academy, Hamilton College offers an open curriculum that gives students the freedom to shape their own liberal arts education within a research- and writing-intensive framework.
Two land on Maine at Presque Isle’s Dean’s List
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Three hundred and eighty-five students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester, including Timothy Burns and Payton Herbert Jones of Green Cove Springs.
Because of a new academic policy, there are no longer distinctions between highest honors, high honors, and honors; instead, all students who achieve academic distinction appear on one honors list.
