OAKLEAF – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Orange Park man after the agency said he sold a bag of cocaine to a confidential informant on May 24 at the soccer fields at Oakleaf Village Amenity Center.
Wakene LaSalle Williams, 44, was charged on Oct. 16 with trafficking cocaine after Williams waved the informant down at the fields, approached the informant and tossed the cocaine in the informant’s car. Williams then collected the money and left.
Williams was already in the Clay County Jail after being arrested on May 9 for battery on law enforcement, resisting law enforcement with violence and selling cocaine. On May 14, he was also charged with two additional counts of selling cocaine.
Williams’ bond is $252,511.
