FLEMING ISLAND – Hundreds of car enthusiasts enjoyed an afternoon of sunshine and classic cars and trucks last Saturday at the 11th annual Rev It Up Car Show at the Fleming Island Town Hall Event Center. More than 30 trophies were awarded, and in the process, the nonprofit club raised money to support local charities. The club regularly holds events to benefit the Food Pantry Green Cove Springs, K9s for Warriors, Seamark Ranch, Quigley House, Special Olympics Florida and AMI Kids. Cars included: a tan and purple Chevy custom with a chopped top, a father and son Corvette and Mustang, a red 1938 Chevy sedan and a red 1934 Ford Coup, a row of exotic sports cars, an orange 1956 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery and a row of classic General Motors cars.
