Posted

MIDDLEBURG – Joseph “Joe” Keene, a World War II veteran who received a Purple Heart while being stationed on Okinawa, died the day after America honored all of its veterans at Centerfield of Clay County. Although he was hospitalized, other residents took time to pay their respects to their neighbor and the others who wore the colors.
