FLEMING ISLAND – The Paul E. and Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the 2020 Celebrate Clay awards, a longstanding community service awards program that recognizes remarkable organizations and individuals serving the Clay County community.

New in 2020, the Reinhold Foundation is increasing the amount of the total cash awards from $75,000 to $100,000.

From the pool of applications, a panel of community judges will select and recognize those non-profit organizations for providing outstanding services in Clay County during 2019 calendar year. The awards will be presented at the 2020 Celebrate Clay Breakfast on April 21 at the Thrasher-Horne Center in Orange Park.

All award categories will see an increase in cash gifts this year. The top award, The Paul E. Reinhold Community Service Award, will be increased to $15,000, while the Peggy Bryan Volunteer of the Year Award will be increased to $7,000, and all the Category Awards will be increased to $1,000. The 2020 Celebrate Clay program will bring the total cash awards to $865,000 presented to Clay County area nonprofit organizations since Celebrate Clay’s inception in 2009.

All 501 (c) 3 nonprofit groups that provided services to Clay County residents in 2019 are encouraged to apply. Details and applications are available at www.reinhold.net. The application deadline is Feb. 4.

The grant programs of The Paul E. & Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc. support nonprofit organizations that work to improve the quality of life for Clay County residents.
