GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said it utilized a confidential informant to make several drug purchases from a Jacksonville man before charging him with three counts of trafficking methamphetamine, selling methamphetamine and using his cellphone at least twice to facilitate a felony.
According to four different arrest reports, Vanquail Kenyale Williams, 40, sold a bag of meth to the informant near the Hickory Grove Cemetery on Sept. 5 and 19 and another bag of meth on Sept. 30 at a grocery store parking lot.
Williams’ next court appearance will be on November 12. His bond is $570,021.
