HOYT B. COTNEY STADIUM: will celebrate the grand re-opening of its football stadium at Orange Park High on Sept. 8. After being forced to play on the road for most of its games in 2022, the Raiders will have a newly rebuilt stadium. In coordination with the Clay County District Schools, the Clay Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Tailgate Party at the stadium parking lot from 4-6 p.m., followed by Florida Blue Health Council’s Healthy walk at 5 p.m. The school and county officials will conduct the ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 5:45 p.m. inside the stadium, which will require a $5 game ticket to attend. The night will conclude with Orange Park hosting Clay High at 7 p.m.
