Winn-Dixie stores to host job fairs on Friday

CLAY COUNTY – Southeastern Grocers Inc., the parent company and home of Winn-Dixie grocery stores, is holding a companywide hiring day on Friday, Nov. 12 to fill thousands of full- and part-time positions at stores throughout its Southeast footprint. Store managers will be on-site accepting applications and conducting interviews from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at all stores, including all eight stores in Clay County.

McDonald’s Golden Grant to award $100,000 in education grants

CLAY COUNTY – Educators and individuals who represent programs and organizations that fuel the imagination, education and growth of students can apply for a McDonald’s Golden Grant. The program will award $100,000 in grants to various teachers and organizations to positively impact the lives of thousands of students.
Activities that qualify for a Golden Grant include arts and crafts programs, education initiatives, mentorship and empowerment programs, after-school programs, community service outreach, sporting programs, technology and COVID-19 relief efforts.
Eligible teachers and organizations are invited to submit an application at www.goldengrantsfl.com. The deadline to enter is Dec. 10 and grant recipients will be announced in February.
