Want a chance to win a $2,500 gift certificate to Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island and help individuals with intellectual and developmental differences at the same time?
If so, BASCA is providing just that opportunity.
Donated by long-time BASCA supporter Phil Porter of Subaru of Jacksonville, this "Create Your Own Experience" chance drawing is the ultimate in beach vacations as the winner can put together their own travel package! Resort amenities include luxury accommodations, golf, spa treatments, and 1.5 miles of dune-lined beachfront.
BASCA provides services and programs to individuals with intellectual and developmental differences in Northeast Florida. They have 5 group homes, day programs, support services, and transportation. The money raised by the chance drawing will be used to purchase a new wheelchair-accessible van. “Like most nonprofits, the pandemic hurt our ability to fundraise in 2020. Now that things are starting to return to the way they were before, we have three individuals on a waiting list that will use this van to get to doctor's appointments, day programs, and community inclusion activities. With this fundraiser, we hope that the community will show us their support so we can continue to care for the individuals who depend on us.” says BASCA's Director of Development, Pamela Mylrea.
To enter the drawing or for more information about BASCA, please visit BASCA's website at www.BASCAINC.org or call (904) 541-1742. Tickets for the drawing are $10.00 each (suggested donation). The winner's name will be drawn at 6 p.m. on April 9th at the SUBARU of Jacksonville BASCA Golf Classic. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win
