Yes, this is true. Green Cove residents will soon say hello to a brand new Taco Bell restaurant.
Construction for the restaurant is approved and set to be built along U.S. HIGHWAY 17 at 1330 N Orange Ave., just beside the Easy Stop Food Store. According to construction plans filed back in June of 2023, the property will be paved for parking and include a drive-thru.
There is no official opening date as of now.
This would be the fifth Taco Bell in the county, with two locations in Orange Park, one in Fleming Island and one in Middleburg.
