JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. The U.S. Air Force Super Girl Surf Pro, World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 3000, crowned Caroline Marks (USA) its 2022 victor today after winning the Final against event standout Bella Kenworthy (USA). A slight drop in swell provided two-to-three-foot waves that Marks unleashed multiple excellent rides on throughout Finals Day, starting with the Round of 16, before emerging victorious in historic fashion. With her win, Marks becomes the first woman to earn a Super Girl cape on both the East and West Coast.
The three-day event started with U.S. Olympian Caroline Marks hosting a clinic for 24 young girls late Thursday afternoon with other professional WSL athletes including Moana Jones Wong, Erin Brooks, Sage Erickson (remotely) and local professional Sophie Falzone.
