Helen Fehrs Nepil
Helen Fehrs Nepil, 95, formerly of Orange Park, passed away on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at her home in New Bern, NC.
Following her retirement from civil service at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL she became very active with the Ladies Auxiliary of the D.A.V., known as “CATS.”
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta N. Carter; son, Garret J. Nepil (Lauri); sister, Marie F. Sweigart; grandchildren, Robert N. Jarman, III (Kelli), Joshua M. Sullivan (Gina), Denise M. Niner (Andrew), and Anna N. Castine (Tim); three great grandchildren, Taylar E. Jarman, Morgan K. Jarman, and Kyle Castine; and her beloved cat, Nicholas. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her husband, Slavomir K. Nepil; sons, Kenneth R. Nepil and Dennis G. Nepil; brother, William A. Fehrs; granddaughter, Jaime M. Jarman; and son-in-law, John Carter.
A graveside funeral service will be held at the Maryrest Cemetery in Wyckoff, NJ where she will be laid to rest with her husband.

Joanne Artie Mulford
Joanne Artie Mulford, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Green Cove Springs, Florida on July 12, 2017.
Joanne was born in Buchanan County, Iowa on April 29, 1927 and moved to Green Cove Springs, Florida in 1959. She just celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by her beloved family. Joanne was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Green Cove Springs, Florida and a resident at Penney Retirement Community until May of this year. Joanne was loved by all her knew her and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mulford, M.D. and her son Paul Mulford. She is survived by six children, daughter Artie Franz of Marianna, Fla., son William Mulford Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla., daughter Julia Mulford of Tampa, Fla., son Luke Mulford (Isabell) of Zephyrhills, Fla., daughter Laura Mulford of Tallahassee, Fla., and son Matthew Mulford (Kelli) of Green Cove Springs, Fla. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Alex Franz, Aaron (Jaime) Franz, Adam Franz, Andrew Franz, Samantha (Ariel) Arce, Hannah Mulford, Matthew “Everett” Mulford, Jr, Kayla Mulford, Paige Mulford and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held graveside at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:00 A.M with the Rev. Mark Hults officiating. A reception to celebrate her life will be held at the home of Matthew and Kelli Mulford immediately following the service for family and friends. Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Community Hospice of N.E. Florida or Penney Retirement Community.

Manuel D. Valle

Our loving father Manuel D. Valle joyfully made his journey home to our Lord July 15, 2017 at his daughter's home in Central, La surrounded by those who loved him. He was born October 28, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan where he was raised with his nine brothers and sisters.  His parents and stepfather were all immigrants, his mom from Scotland and his dad from Spain and his stepfather from Greece, who traveled to the US pursuing the American Dream of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.  When of age he chose to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and Korea.  In between these wars he fell in love with his soul mate Lillie Atwell and married. After Korean War he received training in X-ray technology and then re-enlisted in U.S. Air Force.  He then retired from military service after a 20 year career. He then took his talents to further 24 year career as head of the Radiology department at the Veterans Administration Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida helping those that he could with his mind as well as his heart. Upon his retirement from the Veteran's Administration, he worked with the Challenge Organization for the Handicapped and also Meals on Wheels in Clay County, Florida continuing to help and give his heart to those who needed assistance.  He was dedicated to his God and his faith and showed his devotion to Jesus by living a good, honest life, giving to those less fortunate and spreading the Word of God.  He was a Eucharistic Minister, member of the choir and active member of the Knights of Columbus a founding member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the Green Cove Springs, Fl.   He was devoted to his lovely wife, Lillie M. Valle and his children, and was dedicated to serving his community.  His character, morals and sense of humor live on in his family.  He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him for his musical talents, his artistic abilities, and incredible zest for life. He awaits his wife, family and friends to one day be reunited.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Lillie Atwell Valle of 68 years; children: Manuel Jr. and wife Joan, Linda Ray and her husband Patrick, son Michael and wife Vicky, twin daughters Karen Vallle and Kathy Ramirez, and son Mark.  He is also survived by his brother Jimmy; his grandchildren: Nikki Clark and husband Terry, Rachel Vogt, Leslie and Melissa Valle, Ashley Collins, Madison Ernest, Kyle Frank, Derek Valle and Lindsey Herndon.  His great-grandchildren are Tyler Clark, Austin, Kaydence, and Adalyn Collins.

Special thanks to Modern Hospice and Tender Care sitters: Linda, Shewanda, Charlotte, Nneka, Charlie, Terrian and Kendrick for their compassionate care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in charge of arrangements.  

Mary Grace Moffitt
Mary Grace Moffitt, 83, formally of Carbondale, Penn., died on July 13, 2017 surrounded by her daughters in Florida. She was under the care of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
Mary Grace was the widow of Charles E. Moffitt Jr. who died in 2011, after 55 years of marriage.
Born in Archbald, Penn. on September 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Marjorie Dean Siefring.
Mary Grace was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Carbondale, Penn. prior to moving to Florida. She was a graduate of Archbald High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing.
Mary Grace lived in Archbald before to moving to Carbondale in 1956. Prior to her retirement, she was a registered nurse at Forest City Nursing Center and at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Mary Grace is survived by her three children, Charles (D’Arcy), Mary A. Parris, Fla., and Maureen Douglas (Alex), Fla.; eight grandchildren, Pillar Klemans, Kaleigh Diehl, C.J. Moffitt, Kyle Parris, Corey Parris, A.J. Douglas, Averey Douglas, Grace Douglas; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leona Davis and Margaret Miller; very close friend, Mary Burke and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date with interment at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Charles.
