Cherie Lynne (Smith) Angel, 56, passed away in Jacksonville, Fl. at St. Vincent Hospice. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Cherie was born on June 18, 1960 in Peoria, Il. to Jerald E. Smith and Lucille A. Smith. Cherie graduated from Suwannee High School.
She is survived by her brothers Michael E.( Carol) Smith and Steven J.(Marlene) Smith. Her son Jason M. (Leigh) Smith, daughters Kelly L. Angel, Jamie L. (Eugene III) Perkins. Grandchildren Cassidy P. Smith, Kaitlynn M. Smith, Eugene C. Perkins IV, and Mikayla M. Perkins. Nephews and nieces Jason A.( Tabitha) Smith, Alisha Smith, Carol A. Smith, Samantha K. Smith
Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church Middleburg, 2645 Blanding Blvd. from 6-8pm on June 2, 2017.
