Darrell Dean Fowler, Jr
Darrell Dean Fowler, Jr. my son met the Lord. on Monday, March 12, 2018.  He was a graduate of Middleburg High School and was living in McDonough, Georgia.  He had been employed most of his adult days as a police officer. A memorial service will be held McDonough. He was preceded in death by his father. Darrell Dean, Fowler, Sr. He leaves behind two sons, Jon Fowler, and, Brian Fowler. his Mom, Fran Fowler, sister, Tammy Briley and brother Derek Fowler. 

Leda ‘Lee’ Shaw Lyerly
Leda Lee Shaw Lyerlly, 61 Born March 12, 1956 passed away on December 26, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 5042 Timuquana Rd. Jacksonville, Fla. 32210 at 3 p.m. on Saturday March 24, 2018, with a reception to follow.

William Paul Smart
William Paul Smart, 77, of Metter and formerly of Keystone Heights, Fla. died early Friday morning, March 16, 2018 at Candler County Hospital in Metter.
Born in Moberly, Missouri, he was a son of Dora Frances and Paul Dames Smart. He was of the Catholic faith and was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Edgar Akridge of Keystone Heights, Fla. and a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald F. and Debrah Smart of Columbia, South Carolina; three nieces, Valerie D. Alvers, Mary F. Akridge, and Celena Julius all of Keystone Heights, Fla.; and one nephew, Eric Paul Akridge of Keystone Heights. The funeral will be held at the graveside in Keystone Heights City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. with father Michael Williams officiating. Anna Maria Justus
Anna Maria Justus, 63 of Middleburg, Fla. passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. Maria was born in Hempstead, NY to her parents, William “Ted” Justus and the late Hilda Klopp Justus. She moved to Middleburg in 1969 and was a third grade teacher at Thunderbolt Elementary School. Over the years, she enjoyed traveling to include yearly trips to Europe. Her family was her life and spending time with her nieces and nephews was something she treasured.
Maria would like to let you know that her work here is done. Her incredible and inspiring fight against her illness has come to an end. Maria was passionate about teaching and inspiring curiosity in children to learn, and about visiting and spending time with family, she has embarked on one last trip. It will be a reunion with family she has not seen in a long time. We know her will to live and enjoy life will always remain a positive influence for her students past and present, her nieces and nephews, and all of us.
Anna Maria Justus leaves a surviving influence on:  Her father, Ted Justus and her brother and sisters, Jerry K. Justus with Francesca Preston, Michael Moro, Nicholas Moro, Lauryn Moro, Michael Justus;  Mona B. Justus, with Juergen Justus, Lana M. Justus, Sean A.Justus; Kat Harty with Sloan Harty, Dylan Harty, Keira Harty, Teagan J. Harty, Oakley R. Harty; Bridget Payne with John Payne, Hannah M. Payne, Alaina M. Payne, Chloe W. Snellgrove, Jacob Payne; Yvette Broder, with Jeremy Broder.
Memorial Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 1 p.m.until services time.
