GREEN COVE SPRINGS – A 23-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 28 in connection with a rash of car break-ins reported in the downtown area on July 16.
Kyandre Jamorie Cain, of Green Cove Springs, was charged with two counts of armed burglary, two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary after several cars in the Cove Subdivision were robbed. At least two of the cars were unlocked.
The Green Cove Springs Police Department posted a photograph of the suspect on its Facebook page and on July 21 a resident identified Cain. A warrant was issued for his arrest on July 27.
Cain’s bond was set at $375,015.
