FLEMING ISLAND – Children made a lot of noise with their hammers and got as much paint on their hands, face and clothes last Saturday. But nobody cared. The Home Depot hosted a Kids Projects and Activities where children built wooden delivery trucks. Some, particularly 3-year-old Maya, really enjoyed being creative with their paint schemes. Upcoming workshops at the Fleming Island, Orange Park and Middleburg stores include building Valentine’s Baskets on Feb. 3 and Butterfly Houses on March 2.
