A faith-filled servant of the Lord. A man who loves his family and his community. An admired industry leader and visionary. A man of tremendous integrity, honesty, and virtue. A beloved husband of 42 years. A doting father of 4 children and grandfather of 9 grandchildren. A mentor. A hero to many, especially to his wife Tina. These statements are just a few that describe Greg Clary and embodies his character.

Greg comes from humble beginnings – born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Savannah, GA. The culmination of his life and career have been as a resident of Clay County, FL where he began his career as a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper. Starting out with a box for a table, a table for his files, and a telephone, Greg set his sights on the American dream. In 1983, he founded Clary & Associates, Inc., a surveying and mapping firm that consisted of only one crew. Never turning down work and despite busy schedules, Greg always found a way to complete projects on time. He has worked closely with countless builders, developers, landowners, large engineering firms, and government entities throughout North Florida and Southeast United States. Today, Clary & Associates, Inc. is recognized as a leading provider of surveying and mapping services and is known for its outstanding reputation.

For many years, Clay County and communities throughout Northeast Florida have benefited from Greg Clary’s selfless desire to serve others. He has contributed philanthropically to countless organizations through his time and financial support; and, he currently serves on several boards. He has served as Chairman on the Clay County Utility Authority Board of Supervisors, Secretary of the Clay County Development Authority, Chairman for the FL Board of Land Surveyors and Mappers, Director of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, and on the Subdivision Standards and Policy Advisory Committee for the City of Jacksonville.

Greg’s extensive volunteerism and philanthropy includes JP Hall Children’s Charities, St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation, Rotary International, Pine Castle, BASCA, Answers in Genesis, Council on Aging of Clay County, FL Baptist Children’s Home, Gideons International, Mayo Clinic Foundation, Institute of Creation Research, Word of Life, National Rifle Association, University of North Florida, University of Florida, Memorial Park Association, Cummer Museum & Gardens, Seamark Ranch, and First Coast Women’s Services. He has supported countless missionaries and faith-based projects throughout the world including in the Americas, Ukraine, Africa, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. Professionally, he is a member of Northeast Florida Builders Association, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Association of Information Technology Professionals, Florida Surveying and Mapping Society, Florida Engineering Society, American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, American Society of Highway Engineers, Clay County Chamber of Commerce, JAXUSA, and Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, Greg has supported numerous godly men and women running for political office and is often sought after by politicians and government officials for guidance and advice. He is profoundly respected for his insatiable desire to ensure that his community is the best place to live, work, and play for many generous to come.
