Concert on the Green continues to bolster the arts community
ORANGE PARK – Concert on the Green, a 31-year-old tradition in Clay County, an organization supports scholarships for Clay County students of the arts, presented a $500 grant to the Orange Park Community Theater and Children's Theatre of Clay County on Dec. 17, during the final performance of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Orange Park Community Theatre Executive Vice President Vicki Lowe, at right, and President Tim Deborde, at left, accepted the grant from Lauren Hoffman, president of Concert on the Green, center. The grant will be used to assist students in need who desire to participate in theater training programs and camps. The annual 2018 Concert on the Green will be held May 27 on the grounds of St. Johns Country Day School. All proceeds of the event benefit scholarships and grants for art and music education in Clay County.
