County schools to showcase artists, mathematics this weekend
CLAY COUNTY – Students will display their creativity and calculative skills this weekend with the Clay County District School Student Art Show and Elementary Math Field Day.
The art show will be on Friday, April 26, and Saturday at the Thrasher-Horne Conference Center, while the math field day will be at Fleming Island High on Saturday.
Friday’s hours are from 4-8 p.m., while Saturday’s are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The awards ceremonies will be on Saturday at 5 p.m.
In addition to wonderful art displays, students and families can explore the Family and Community Engagement room, watch student artists working on their craft, hear and see performances while viewing artwork and more.
This event is free and open to the public.
The math field day is not a public event.
