BEGINNER BACKYARD POULTRY SEMINAR: Are you interested in raising a small, backyard chicken flock to produce your own food? Seminar held at the UF/IFAS Clay County Extension Office, 2463 State Rd. 16 West, Green Cove Springs, Aug. 3 from 6-8 p.m. Registration is $5 at https://ClayExtension.eventbrite.com. Come learn about the basics of chicken care, nutrition, health, and understand some of the regulations and local ordinances that should be followed.

CODE ENFORCEMENT: The Clay County Code Enforcement Special Magistrate Hearing will be on Aug. 3 beginning at 9:30 a.m., Board of County Commissioners’ Meeting Room, 4th floor, Administration Building, 477 Houston St., Green Cove Springs. The public can attend.

VIETNAM VETERANS: Vietnam Veterans of America Clay County Chapter 1059 meets Aug. 5 at 11 a.m., Middleburg American Legion Post 250, 3959 County Rd. 218. The VVA meets the first Saturday of each month.

LIBRARIES WORKSHOP: The Board of County Commissioners of Clay County will hold a Libraries Workshop on Aug. 7 from 6-8 p.m., in the BCC Meeting Room, fourth floor, Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs.
