SOCIETY OF MIXED MEDIA ARTISTS: Hosts an opening reception and awards presentation, which is open to the public, from 3-5 p.m. on Jan. 7 in the Vandroff Art Gallery at the Jewish Community Alliance, located at 8505 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville. The exhibit "Artist Visions” will showcase pieces by many of the award-winning members of the organization. Regular hours at the center are: M-Thurs. 5:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.; Fri. 5:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sat. 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Sun. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. The show will run through Jan. 31.
