BOOK FAIR: The Barnes & Noble Book Fair, St. Johns Town Center, 10280 Midway Parkway, Jacksonville, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. until closing to benefit the Seven Bridges School PTO Inc. The free event will feature crafts for kids, story times, award-winning children’s author Jane Wood, a student art display and free raffles. PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT: “Gideon Mendel: Drowning World” runs through Dec. 9 at the MOCA, Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown Jacksonville. The exhibit features photographs of Clay County residents whose homes were destroyed by the flooding on Black Creek during Hurricane Irma.
