PRIVATE APPLICATOR PESTICIDE LICENSE REVIEW COURSE: June 15 from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., UF/IFAS Clay County Extension Office, 2463 State Rd. 16 West, Green Cove Springs. BOAT PARADE: The annual Kingsley Lake boat parade will be July 4 at 11 a.m. beginning in front of Kingsley Cove moving clockwise around the lake concluding at Kingsley Cove. Boaters line up at 10:30 a.m. Boat judging categories will be 1st, and 2nd place for best decorated boat. Best pontoon and best PWC (jet ski) will also be judged. Best decorated dock will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as two honorable mention. Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m.

PLANNING COMMISSION: Meets July 6 at 7 p.m., in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room, fourth floor, Administration Building, 477 Houston St., Green Cove Springs. Open to the public and all interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.

ANNUAL SERVE DAY: July 15 at Celebration Church, 512 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Will include backpack giveaways, face painting, water fun, a DJ, free haircuts and a Farm Share truck to distribute food to families.

MASTER GARDENER: The UF/IFAS Clay County Master Gardener Program will be holding its annual plant sale on Sept. 9 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be many varieties of landscape plants available along with food and craft vendors, free workshops, and activities for kids.
