POLICE OFFICER MEMORIAL: The Clay County Sheriff’s Office will celebrate Police Memorial Week with a ceremony May 8 at 10 a.m. at Spring Park, 106 St. Johns Ave., Green Cove Springs, breaking the tradition of holding it at the CCSO headquarters where the officers’ memorial is located.
25TH ANNUAL LETTER CARRIER FOOD DRIVE: to benefit Clay County food pantries, including the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs and the Orange Park Clothes Closet and Food Bank. Place non-perishable items in a bag at your mailbox for the letter carrier to pick up on May 12. The food will be distributed later that day to help the needy in Clay County.
