Affordable Fencing teams with U-Haul

ORANGE PARK – An Orange Park area company is adding another service to its menu.

Affordable Fencing Outlet has signed on as a neighborhood U-Haul dealer to serve Clay County.

Located at 1004 Blanding Blvd., Affordable Fencing will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pickup for boxes.

Hours of operation for U-Haul rentals are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday.

U-Haul products can be reserved at this location by calling (904) 298-1604 or online at https://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Orange-Park-FL-32065/032577/.

Affordable Fencing Outlet owner Marty Snyder said he is proud to team up with the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage to better meet the demands of Clay County.

U-Haul and Affordable Fencing Outlet are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives. Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.

Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.

Affordable Fencing Outlet is a great place to become “U-Haul Famous.” Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck. Survey identifies where Floridians stand on emerging issues

TAMPA – The USF-Nielsen Sunshine State Survey, the most anticipated non-political annual survey of Floridians that covers a wide range of economic, social and hot topic issues facing one of the nation’s largest and diverse states, will begin a three-part data release starting Thursday, Oct. 6.

“Since 2006, this issues-based survey covers critical matters facing Floridians,” said Susan MacManus, USF distinguished university professor. “It is the most in-depth and longitudinal look at Floridians’ opinions on a wide-range of pressing issues.”

The USF School of Public Affairs, part of the College of Arts and Sciences, in partnership with Nielsen administers this survey and analyzes the results under the direction of MacManus, one of the nation’s leading political experts. Questions asked annually provides leaders and academics in the public, private and nonprofit sectors with much‐needed trend line data, while questions on newly‐emerging issues provide a look at where the state's residents stand on them. MacManus works with students in a senior-level media and politics class to refine questions and learn about the polling process working directly with Nielsen.

“Student evaluations unequivocally show the significant educational impact this joint venture has on their interest and understanding of all facets of survey research. We all certainly benefit, as well, when students join the Nielsen team upon graduation,” said Amy Rettig, senior vice president of public affairs for Nielsen.

As a Tampa Bay business leader for more than 50 years and industry leader in data measurement services, the Nielsen partnership gives USF students the hands-on opportunity to design and analyze one of the most recognized and valued surveys in Florida.
