JACKSONVILLE - Clay High put nine wrestlers at the top of the podiums Saturday afternoon at Jacksonville Raines High School en route to a blowout win in the District 3-1A championships.
Champions crowned were Lou Gagliardo, Chris Merring, Peyton Hughes, Dylan Fabiani, Cody Taylor, Keath Sawdo, Dylan Taylor, Kaleb Collins and Kurt Jackson.
Justin Byler and Ryan Rivers both advanced to next week's Region 1-1A meet on Feb. 24-25 at Clay with top four wrestlers at districts advancing to the Class 1A state championships in Kissimmee on March 4-5.
Clay scored 220.5 team points for the win with Yulee second at 175 and Westside third at 113.5.
